It's taken awhile, but I've finally realized that I need something that is less than a website and more than just Twitter.

I'm going to do my best to make regular updates and make content that I can post regularly, since not everyone wants to see UI assets or particle effects :)

To start things off, here are some level design sketches done for Maglev studios.  Lianne Booton ( ) and Joshua Smyth ( ) were using them for their Druids of Gemini project.

So I'm kind of terrible at keeping a blog...

Anyhoo, I've pretty much just kept busy making games at Venan, Space Miner, Ninjatown: Trees of Doom! and Book of Heroes (as well as multiple projects contracted EA and other publishers).
Oh, and I've got a kid now, so that's new as of my last post, he's almost two years old now.

Here's some new art from Book of Heroes!

in the mines

Some photos from underground... nasty conditions, wet and cold and slanted. At least there were no bugs.

This first room in the mines was labeled as Solitary Confinement. It had a wild reverberating echo, almost like being inside a drum.

it's aaallliiivvveee!!

Not quite a year since my last post! I've been busy doing lots of stuff at Venan, but the cooler work for our own IP's is still NDA'ed. I'll have to see if any of that stuff might be available to show in the future.

In the meantime, here's a panoramic photomerge from our visit to the Newgate Prison and Coppermine in East Granby CT.
